Message Title: As Little Children
Speaker: Rev. Rosemary Hyde

Jesus told us that we would only find happiness when we "became as little children". Truthfully, after I spent what seemed like eternity waiting to become a grown up, this teaching never spoke to me before. But now I’m beginning to understand the wisdom of forgetting a lot of what I’ve learned as a grownup. I’m grappling, finally, with the whole question of why time and our response to it matter in this physical life. Let's examine what wisdom and joy there really is in relearning what I have forgotten about the power of a child’s perspective, with its awe, its mindful awareness, and its playful curiosity.

Message Title: Getting Back to Source
Speaker: Rev. Victoria Loveland-Coen

Looking at it from one point of view we might feel that this year has been just awful so far. But if we look closer, we can see that a lot of positive change is happening. Consciousness is shifting. The next place to shift consciousness is around our experience of prosperity. What if our economy reflected what we truly value? What if it reflected our awareness of the true source of all our good? We have an opportunity to make some positive change in how our economy works.

But will we take the cue and align ourselves with these qualities? The choice is ours. Rev. Victoria shares how we can approach compassionate living one moment at a time. Fathers are celebrated on the Father's Day (U.S. holiday) too in this service.

Message Title: Healing from Hatred
Speaker: Rev. Rosemary Hyde

Hatred is a virus. We’ve caught much of it from others, and it endangers our well-being. Hatred occurs when we’re indifferent or hostile to someone’s well being—spider, human, planet—when in fact all beings are our « neighbors » that deserve our peaceful intentions. Hatred is based on a widely shared nightmare that other beings endanger us—when, instead, the opposite is true. We’ll reflect on some powerful keys to healing from this virus.

Message Title: The Messy Process of Transformation
Speaker: Rev. Victoria Loveland-Coen

The process of transformation is not always butterflies and sunshine, although that sure would be nice if it were. Transformation -- both personal and global -- is often messy and painful. But it can be made easier by infusing the process with higher energies of light and love. We can take to heart what Dr. Martin Luther's King Jr.'s said, "Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that."

Message Title: Life, Death, and the Space Inbetween
Speaker: Rev. Victoria Loveland-Coen

As we've topped the grim milestone in this country of 100,000 deaths due to Coronavirus, we'll look at the healing power of collective mourning. We'll explore how birth and death are really doorways to a new experience in an ongoing adventure of awakening. We'll then explore the "space in-between" and what our role is as "transformers of human consciousness."
