mothers day 2019Saying Yes to Your Adventure

To all the women who have raised children, we celebrate you!  We also celebrate anyone who has made a commitment to nurturing someone, or something, or has commited to nurturing the birth of your own highest vision.  You have said "Yes" to your adventure.  And we know adventures can be full of joy, but also full of struggle and frustration.   Most adventures require us to grow and stretch well beyond our comfort zone.  So, how do we stay committed to our adventure when the going gets tough and it's full of obstacles?  Fortunately there are guideposts along the way...directions signs on our path.  This Sunday Rev. Victoria will explore with you guideposts that can support you in your grand adventure as you manifest your magnificence.

Speaker: Future Ministers Team

future ministers groupThanks to Rosemary and Victoria, UCP now has a Future Ministers Team. Its members are Blanche Foy, Mel Caron, Oswaldo Mora, Chris Geith, and Pat Webster. In addition to immersing ourselves in studies preparatory for seminary, we are immediately beginning to serve at UCP. With Rosemary in Paris, and Victoria moving this week, the FMT will be guiding this Sunday's service and celebration. Our theme is the abundant flowering of divine consciousness. You’ll experience the journey from seed, soil, growth, and manifesting into your full human blossoming.

April 21st: Easter Sunday

Time: 11:00AM - 12:15PM
Speaker: Rev. Victoria Loveland-Coen

happy easterOn Easter Sunday we will be celebrating the resurrection of the Christ Consciousness within ourselves.  This is not about Jesus the man as being "the one and only" Divine Being.  His message was clearly that all of us are God expressing and when we open to the Christ, or I AM Consciousness within us, our lives transform and we can be a transformational presence in the world. So join us for joy-filled service complete with special music, our famous "chocolate communion" and an activity that reminds us of how the Christ Consciousness is blossoming in our lives.

And bring the kids for a fun Easter Egg hunt after the service!

April 7th: Jesus The Good Shepherd Ceremony

Time: 11:00AM - 12:15PM
Speaker: Rev. Victoria Loveland-Coen

jesus statueDoes Jesus resonate with you? If so, you will want to join us in this sacred ceremony we're planning for the first Sunday in April.  A member of our congregation has generously donated this beautiful symbol of Jesus' loving protection, and we will be walking out to the Sacred Spaces to commune with, offer flowers to, sing, share readings and be inspired by the immense love that is there. Plan to join us directly after the service.

April 14th: Living Altar

Time: 11:00AM - 12:15PM
Speaker: Rev. Victoria Loveland-Coen

ucp living altarPlease join us Sunday, April 14th for a special service.  Back by popular demand, we will be creating a Living Altar together!  This is your opportunity to bring something that is special and sacred to you, and share it with all of us.  What gives you a sense of the Divine? What reminds you of your oneness with all life? What helps you stay focused on your highest vision? It could be an item such as a spiritual figure, stone, feather, sacred text, photo, power animal, etc.  Or, it could be a specific poem or passage that speaks to you.  Please bring your item to share and you will be invited to place it on our Living Altar. We will be co-creating this experience together.  You are also invited to just be present and witness what others are sharing and take in the love conveyed in this experience.
