Creating a World that Works for Everyone
Speaker: Rev. Victoria Loveland-Coen
Music: Kris Whitenack

Creating a world that works for everyone is a heart-felt intention here at Unity Center of Peace.  But do we know what that really means, and what it takes to participate in creating that?  This Sunday we'll explore how racial, gender and educational equity benefits us all.  And the shifts in perception that are necessary to create that.

Joining us in the conversation will be Kathy Krahenbuhl, a trainer for the Racial Equity Institute.

Stones of Faith
Speaker: Mel Caron
Music: Kris Whitenack

We're heading back to 11th Century B.C. where we'll be spectators at a camp witnessing how David would find the faith to face Goliath and how we can activate that same faith within us as we face our own “Goliaths”. When you have faith you have full assurance in your heart!

This Sunday we have the pleasure of hearing a talk by one of our Future Minister Team members, Mel Caron. We hope you can join us in support of one of our beautiful budding ministers. Mel shares from her heart in a deeply kind and loving way and we look forward to this experience.

Choosing from Infinite Possibilities - The White Stone Service
Speaker: Rev. Victoria Loveland-Coen
Music: Kris Whitenack

Now that we have released what is no longer serving us in our Burning Bowl service last week, we have created a space for something new and wonderful.  Our annual White Stone service, led by Rev. Victoria, will help you connect with a specific quality or aspect of your Infinite Self that your soul wants you to embody this year.  Join us as we embark on an adventure through a variety of vistas to observe and finally choose the quality that's right for you.

If you didn't receive a white stone for this Sunday's service, and you'd like to have one, please email  and we will arrange a time for you to come and pick one up.

The Christmas Star
Speaker: Rev. Victoria Loveland-Coen
Music: Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire-Kris Whitenack, piano solo

We are about to witness a very bright light in the sky, similar to the Christmas Star that supposedly led the Magi to the birthplace of Jesus. The Great Conjunction of 2020 is when Jupiter and Saturn come so close together it will appear to us as one giant glowing orb.  And it's happening on the Winter Solstice. What will this celestial event portend for us, if anything?  Is it just an astronomical event, or could it herald the birth of a new era?  Join us this Sunday as we explore the possibilities.

Two Chickens and a Turkey

Before Thanksgiving, we had our own UCP version of the Miracle of the Loaves and Fishes— the Universe bestowing its Abundance Easily and generously, in response to awareness, asking, and inspiration.  It started with a gift to UCP for people needing Thanksgiving food of two frozen chickens and a frozen Turkey which, as people replied, stating their need for supplemental food, expanded and became eight chickens and a Turkey,  plus a large box of canned and boxed items which were enjoyed by a bunch of families. And last week and this week, we have heard many wonderful stories of healings, unexpected prosperity, and  miraculous escapes— so many that we can’t possibly doubt the love and blessings in which we live as our awareness continues to evolve.  This Christmas season, we are invited  to experience how being in the flow blesses us all over and over.

PAUSE FOR PEACE

My guess is that most of us will not be hosting holiday parties, going to holiday parties, hosting large holiday gatherings, or running around malls looking for those last minute Christmas gifts.  Then what a terrific opportunity we have to dive more deeply into the true meaning of the holiday!  We can actually have an experience of inner peace, an awakening to the Christ Consciousness within us, and open to the miracles that are ours when we embrace faith and love.  This Sunday Rev. Victoria will share how we can take full advantage of this amazing opportunity.

The Paradox of Gratitude
Speaker: Rev. Victoria Loveland-Coen
We all know a regular practice of gratitude is a really good thing to do.  This Sunday we'll review exactly why it's so beneficial for us on all levels:  physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.  But what is gratitude really, and to whom are we expressing our gratitude?  For our continued spiritual growth it's important we become aware of the underlying subconscious beliefs we might have about this transformational practice.  And...a special gift from Rev. Victoria is in store for you!

What Inspires You?
Speaker: Future Ministers Team and Board of Trustee Members

In this challenging year it's important to identify and embrace what inspires us and helps us stay connected with the Divine presence of love and peace within. This Sunday our Board of Trustees, as well as our Future Minister Team members, will share with us what is meaningful and inspirational to them. In this way you will get to know the essence of the individuals who lead UCP and maybe find a new way to be inspired.

Then at 1:00, you are invited to share what is meaningful and inspirational to you in our Pre-Thanksgiving Community Sharing Circle, which will be held at UCP's Labyrinth. Please bring your mask and a folding chair (some will be provided if you forget.) Physical distancing will be observed. We look forward to seeing you in person and finding out what inspires you!  Thanksgiving-themed refreshments will be served after.
