What to Expect
Each service is a soul-celebration with uplifting positive music, a short meditation, and an empowering message delivered by one of our co-ministers. The service generally lasts an hour and 15 minutes and folks leave feeling inspired and energized. You’ll be ready to begin your week with an open heart and positive attitude.
The dress code is simple: wear what you feel comfortable in. We’re a relaxed bunch.
When You Arrive
A greeter will meet you at the door to welcome you and ask you if you’d like a name tag so we can say hello more easily. If you’ve arrived a little late and we’re meditating, you’ll be asked to wait for just a moment until the meditation is finished and the doors are opened.
If you are bringing children, the greeter will direct you to the upstairs Youth and Family Ministry (YFM) room. We ask that you sign in all children, meet the teacher, then kiss and go. Our YFM teachers are experienced and friendly and are committed to UCP's Youth Education Vision and Mission.
During the Service
You can easily follow along and participate during the service by referring to the Order of Service in the seatback pocket. It includes song lyrics and group affirmations. We understand that sometimes visitors just want to come and observe. Therefore, we will not make you stand up and tell us your name. We are here to support you as much, or as little, as you would like.
Children and youth join us on the platform at the end of the service to share what they learned in their group.
After the Service
Please join us in the kitchen after the service for refreshments and fellowship. Here you’ll have a chance to meet others, ask questions and get to know us a little better. We look forward to getting to know you.
